Vitals: Redwood, senior, forward

Need to know: Scored 12 goals in league play to earn West Yosemite League MVP honors while leading the Rangers to a share of the title.

Woodruff finished the season with 18 goals and 11 assists and helped Redwood place second in the Central Section in Division II.

The three-year starter for the Rangers plans to play for Fresno City College next season.

He said it: “She’s just an amazing goal scorer. She’s tall and physical and impossible to shove off the ball. She has great balance. The opportunities she created were because of her ability to get her arm around her opponent and play really strong around the ball.” Redwood coach Josh Kaminski.
