Vitals: Bullard, junior, forward

Need to know: First-team All-County/Metro Athletic Conference selection had 27 goals and 14 assists for league champion Bullard.

Knights coach Onesta Francis said her sound technical skills often get overshadowed by her exceptional speed (she was a state track and field qualifier in the 400 relay) and leaping ability.

He said it: “Sometimes, you are amazed that she ran past three defenders, and you don’t realize that she did it with good ball control and finished it with a left-footed cross. You can’t tell if she’s left-footed or right-footed, she’s so good with both.” — Bullard coach Onesta Francis.
