Lenny Kravitz is 'Coming (Our) Way'

The concerts keep coming at Table Mountain Casino, which this week announced a June 9 date with rocker Lenny Kravitz.

Kravitz is best known for songs such as "Are You Gonna Go My Way," "Fly Away," and "It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over."

Tickets cost $25-$45 and go on sale May 3. Tickets can be purchased at tmcasino.com.

Recently, Table Mountain has announced dates with Jason Aldean (April 28), Julio Iglesias (June 9) and Hall & Oates (Sept. 29).

At the Hanford Fox

The Hanford Fox Theatre's 2010 concert schedule is filling out and includes dates with Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, Craig Chaquico and Easton Corbin.

Nelson, of course, needs no introduction. He's playing Sept. 14. Tickets cost $59, $69 and $79.

Country outlaw Coe performs April 16. It's $25 and $32.50 to see him.

Chaquico is a guitarist known for playing with Jefferson Starship, and now as a solo jazz/new age artist. He's playing May 7. Tickets cost $27.50 and $32.50.

Corbin, meanwhile, is a rising country star who hit No. 1 with his song "A Little More Country Than That." He plays Sept. 16. Tickets cost $27.50 and $32.50.

Busy April at the Tower

The Tower Theatre has a busy schedule for April, that starts with an April 10 concert with Led Zeppelin tribute band Heartbraker and Santana tribute group Caravanserai. ($30-$40)

April 19 brings a concert with Canadian music hall of famer Bruce Cockburn ($32) and the following weekend, on April 25, Leon Redbone, who plays the jazz and blues of the early 1900s, makes a tour stop ($30-$40).

April 24 is the CD release party for popular local band 40 Watt Hype ($15).

After April, the shows keep coming. Popular-on-PBS vocal group Straight No Chaser, which sold out a May 14 concert, added a second on May 21 ($33.50).

The theater also just added a date with blues harmonica player James Cotton for Oct 15 ($29-$39).

At The Brick Wall

A couple of new April dates are planned at Fresno's new, intimate concert venue, The Brick Wall, 2003 N. Van Ness Blvd., which is backed by the Fresno Folklore Society.

On April 9, The Red Rag Andy Band performs old-time music. $10-$12.

On April 16, there's a local songwriter showcase with Ballad: The Memory, My Beautiful Surrender, Josh Verduzco and Cartoon Physics. $10-$12.

Fans of Mavericks Roasting Co. in Visalia have come to know the coffee shop to double as a hub for for Western music. Much more of that on the way in its 2010 concert schedule:
