Clovis wants your nomination in Google's new ultra-fast Internet program.

Google estimates its project will be 100 times faster than average residential Internet connections. Google is creating a list of communities to join the project.

Fresno and Merced also are competing. For more information, go to www.cityofclovis.com and click on the "help us bring faster Internet to Clovis" banner. Nominations close March 26.
