He's qualified because: North Yosemite League champion (15:43) also captured the Central Section D-III title (15:27) as the Stallions successfully defending their team crown.

He then placed 12th in the state Division III race, leading Madera to a 14th-place finish as a team.

He said it: "He's got a will, he's got a drive and his pain threshold is pretty amazing. Isaiah's pretty self motivated, and it's tough for me to hold him back because he wants to pour it on daily. If everything goes to plan, he'll run in the low 15s next year." Stallions coach Rich Parris
