Need to know: Golden Eagles coach Steve Mosher, who does not keep official statistics in order to promote a team-first attitude in his players, estimates the left-handed Shaffer scored 90 goals 12 on penalty shots and drew 15 ejections during a first-team All-Tri-River Athletic Conference and Division I All-Valley season. Shaffer will play for the Air Force next season.
He said it: "He's a lefty and that really helped to give us another facet to our offense. He's very hard-working, almost driven to be successful." Mosher
