"Star Trek" Grade A: A look at how the crew of the Enterprise came together. Chris Pine and Leonard Nimoy star.

The movie plays off the early days of the characters from the original television series against an evil plot that will rip the fabric of the universe apart.

Director J.J. Abrams accomplished what many thought was impossible: He created a tribute to the past while bringing the franchise into the future.

The film boldly goes where so many fans have gone before while still giving them a film that explores great performances and seeks out head-spinning special effects.

The story is so strong even those who don't know the difference between a Romulan and Klingon will enjoy this hyperdrive of a ride.

"My Sister's Keeper" Grade C+: At the breaking heart of this emotional film are sisters Kate (Sofia Vassilieva) and Anna (Abigail Breslin).

Kate has leukemia, and Anna is tired of being her donor.

Director Nick Cassavetes focuses more on the family dynamics (the mother is played by Cameron Diaz) than the court battle that ensues when Anna tries to take legal action.

The mistake he makes it not recognizing the point of overload where a person becomes numb to the emotional pain.
