  Rick Erlenheim, a Fresno Unified School District administrator and former athletic director and football coach at Kerman High School, died Tuesday due to a sudden illness.

  Erlenheim, director of the district's Career Technical Education, was in Long Beach working with a partner school when he was struck by an unknown condition, district spokeswoman Susan Bedi said. Erlenheim, 46, was transported to Long Beach Community Hospital, where he died.
