Cal Poly Pomona men's soccer player Tyler Reinhart was named player of the week in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
Reinhart, a junior from Clovis West High, totaled 10 points in two weekend games, including a school-record four goals Friday in a 4-2 victory over defending national champion Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday.
Luczak reaches No. 66
Peter Luczak, Fresno State's all-time leader in singles victories, reached a career-high No. 66 in the latest ATP Tennis singles rankings.
Luczak jumped three spots from his previous ranking of No. 69. He's been ranked in the Top 100 since Aug. 10.
Sunbirds lose in OT
Three second-half goals weren't enough for the Fresno Pacific men's soccer team to prevent a 4-3 overtime loss at UC Santa Cruz.

Despite an 11-5 edge in shots on goal, the Fresno City College men's soccer team fell 2-0 to host Modesto.
Goalkeeper Fabian Rangel made five saves for the Rams, who fell to 7-3-3 overall.
Fresno City second at tourney
The Fresno City women's golf team finished second overall -- three strokes behind host CaƱada -- at the Central Valley Conference tournament at Poplar Creek Golf Course in San Mateo.
Peggy Adams and Toyahni Beihn both shot 8-over 79s for the Rams.
