She’s qualified because: She was pretty good in the 400, placing fourth in the section (57.08), and was respectable in the 100 (12.58) and the 200 (25.48) – top-10 season marks in the section.

But it was her relay legs that sparkled as the Tigers won the section 1,600 (3:50.76) before dropping that to a 3:48.08 that placed third in the state with the section’s best-ever time.

They also finished third in the section 400 relay (48.02).

He said it: "She actually surprised me this year, especially pertaining to her effort as a team player on the relays. She was sick early in the year.
