Vitals: Clovis, senior, pitcher
Hes qualified because: Tri-River Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year went 11-3 with a 1.88 ERA to finish a two-year career at 21-5.
The left-hander struck out 85 and walked 15 while giving the Cougars a chance to make a run at TRAC champion Buchanan and runner-up Clovis West.
He said it: Last year, he kind of emerged. This year, it didnt take long to realize he was our No. 1 starter. He has great movement and great poise. With a stoic personality, you dont know if the previous batter got a hit or struck out. And hes a great teammate. Ive never seen a more positive and well-liked teammate. He has a great future. As a pitcher, hes just getting started. Clovis coach James Patrick
