He hit .432 in the Tri-River Athletic Conference and .354 overall with eight doubles, a triple, a school second-best-ever 10 home runs and 30 RBIs.

His defensive range and throwing ability had no rival.

He said it: “Any time he came to the plate, I thought he had a chance to hit a ball out. He has tremendous pop, which I haven’t seen in a while.
