He’s qualified because: Tri-River Athletic Conference co-Player of the Year and a strong candidate for The Bee’s top honor, the left-hander powered the Eagles into the D-I championship with a dual role.
He hit .341, scoring a team-high 34 runs, driving in 25 and walking 18 times for a .477 on-base percentage.
And he went 11-1 with a no-hitter, two saves, a 1.69 ERA and 111 strikeouts in 78.2 innings.
He may join teammate J.D. Salles at Fresno State as a walk-on.
