Need to know: Tri-River Athletic Conference co-Player of the Year and near-miss for The Bees top honor averaged 14.4 points, led the team in assists (5.2) and steals (3.1), and equaled teammate Janae Coffees average in rebounding (10.6).
Headed to Saint Marys, she had 15 points and 11 rebounds in the Central Section Division-I title loss to Stockdale, and who knows what might have happened had she not sprained a knee with 3 minutes remaining.
A clutch, smooth player with tremendous court savvy and a high basketball IQ, Eagles coach Craig Campbell said. She also displayed tremendous toughness, getting 16 stitches in her head and, 3 hours later, helping lead us to a victory over Saint Marys, then No. 1 in the country.
