School: Clovis West

Year: Junior

Position: Guard

Need to know: Co-Tri-River Athletic Conference Player of the Year and, like teammate Morgan Hatten, was a strong candidate for The Bee’s POY award.

Her all-around play had few rivals in the Central Section. She averaged 16.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals. She had 21 points, six rebounds and five assists in the Division I title game.

“She has a phenomenal competitive drive,” Eagles coach Craig Campbell said. “She is one of the most fearless and hardest workers I have coached in 15 years. She is the best on-the-ball defender in the Valley and one of the top in the state. She has the toughness to guard an All-State post in one game and the athleticism to defend an elite point guard the next.”
