Won the Zinkin Classic and Foothill Invitational titles, was third at Doc Buchanan and fourth at Five Counties.

The word: “He probably only weighs 230 pounds, so he gave up a lot of weight to some of these kids. But he works hard and listens to coaching and did a good job this year. He’s definitely one of the top three heavyweights for next year because he’s just going to keep on growing.” — Buchanan coach Chris Hansen
