School: Bullard High

Year: Senior

Position: Sweeper

Need to know: A four-year varsity player, Johnson is a three-time first-team all-league pick. She was named Most Valuable Player of the County/Metro Athletic Conference this season; she also was a team captain. Bullard allowed just three goals in league play this past season and one when Johnson was a junior. Johnson scored twice this season — both on corner kicks.

“No one can beat her one-versus-one,” Bullard coach Jay Johnson said. “She never comes out — even playing with a hairline fracture in her foot that re-occurred at the end of the season.”

Bullard went 10-0-0 to win the CMAC and finished 19-3-4 overall, losing on penalty kicks to Stockdale in the Central Section Division I quarterfinals.

Johnson has signed a letter of intent to play soccer for Cal State-Stanislaus.
