Need to know: Guajardo was a four-year varsity player and three-year starter for the Bears, who won their fourth straight Central Section Division I championship this season. Buchanan finished second in the Tri-River Athletic Conference at 8-2 and beat Stockdale 5-1 for the title. Guajardo was named Co-Most Valuable Player of the TRAC this year along with Clovis High’s Vanessa Gonzalez and Ashley Stack. The Bears (27-4-1) advanced to the CIF Southern California Division I Regional final this year, where they lost 3-2 to San Clemente.

“Anisa is explosive, creative, technically sound and simply loves the game of soccer,” Buchanan coach Erik Farfan said. “She has a tremendous shot and is dangerous going to the goal. She has been an instrumental part of our success over the last few years.”

Guajardo has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Pepperdine College.
