School: Tulare

Year: Junior

Height/weight: 6-1, 198

He’s qualified because: East Yosemite League Specialist of the Year caught 42 passes for 607 yards and seven touchdowns, including one each in three Central Section playoff wins for the Division II champion.

Averaged 22.5 yards on punt returns, scoring twice and had three others called back.

Had 29 tackles, with six sacks, as an outside linebacker.

The word: “He’s the best punt returner I’ve seen in my life, absolutely incredible. He’s one of those guys you sit back and go, ‘wow.’ It got to the point where teams just kicked it out of bounds. He probably accounted for 14 points a game in special teams. He’s hard working, polite and respectful. He’ll play [in the NFL] on Sunday.” — Redskins coach Darren Bennett.
