He’s qualified because: One of the best two-way linemen in the history of an accomplished program, he was the County/Metro Athletic Conference Outstanding Lineman and returns to The Bee All-Star team after making it in 2007.

In addition to playing defensive end, he was also a force at right offensive tackle for a team that produced two 1,000-yard rushers while reaching the Central Section Division II semifinals.

The word: “I wanted to split him in half and make two of him; gosh, he had a great year. He’s strong, plays hard and fast, and is just a real competitor in big games. He was a good drive blocker in a run-oriented offense. And, on defense, he split double teams, stretched plays and rushed the passer. He did everything right.
