School: Clovis East

Year: Senior

Height/weight: 6-4, 260

He’s qualified because: Center recovered from a broken foot in the summer to make All-Tri-River Athletic Conference for the 9-4 Timberwolves, who tied for the league title and placed second to Clovis West for the Central Section Division I championship.

He led the team with 17 pancake blocks for an I-wing offense that averaged 32.4 points for the season and 40.0 in the TRAC.

He also handled long snaps without error. UC-Davis, San Diego State and Weber State have made multiple trips to the southeast Clovis campus.

The word: “He controlled the offense, making the major of calls for the offensive line. Our thing is to get off the ball, and he did a good job of step and snap. He played with his knees bent and a good pad level, and that’s not real common for a tall high school kid.” — Timberwolves coach Tim Murphy.
