She's qualified because: The North Sequoia League's MVP, Franks led Sierra with 222 kills (a 51.3 kill percentage), 73 aces and 66 blocks. She also had 271 assists as a part-time setter. Sierra finished third in the NSL. Franks has signed a letter of intent to play for Cal Poly.
The word: "She's probably one of the best players in the Valley without a doubt," Sierra coach Cathy Lauritzen said.
