Sanger High

Year: Junior

Height/position: 5-10, outside hitter

She's qualified because: A two-year starter and team captain for Sanger, Wild has been MVP of the County/Metro Athletic Conference both years. She was Sanger's kill and block leader this season with 397 and 90. Sanger went 10-0 to win the CMAC then lost to Hanford in the semifinals of the Central Section Division II playoffs. Wild also swims for Sanger.

The word: "She's an amazing athlete," Sanger coach Mesha Wimer said. "She's a natural-born leader. Last year was her first year here and you'd never know that. She fit in right away."
