The Buzz: Legislators call for inquiry into former Brown communications director

Two Republican state lawmakers sent a letter Tuesday calling for an investigation into reports that Attorney General Jerry Brown's top spokesman recorded phone conversations with reporters without their consent. Brown, meanwhile, said he didn't know that Scott Gerber, his communications director, had taped any calls. Brown added that Gerber resigned Monday of his own volition.


A few rules are needed to help foster a feeling of community.
