The Buzz: San Jose tops in California on Forbes' list of safest cities

Forbes magazine considers San Jose the safest metropolitan area in California – unless, of course, an earthquake hits. The mag's new list of 40 American cities is drawing criticism for the way it scored risks of violent crime, workplace deaths, fatal crashes and natural disasters. Besides, Minneapolis was deemed the safest, followed by Milwaukee. Hmm. Wonder how they'd do if list makers considered risk of boredom...
