She's qualified because: Posted the fifth and sixth All-America times of her four-year career while winning the 50 free and 100 back. Her time of 23.58 in the 50 free was just off the Central Section record of 23.55 set by Monache's Kristie Begin in 1998. Goates went on to break her own record in the 100 back with a 56.37, becoming the first girl in section history to break the 57-second barrier. She also helped Exeter place sixth in the 200 medley relay (1:57.07) and 11th in the 400 free relay (3:54.49). Goates set records in the 50 free and 100 back at the Division II meet and won both of those races at the Central Section finals. She has accepted a scholarship to swim next season at Southeastern Conference power Louisiana State.

She’s qualified because: She was pretty good in the 400, placing fourth in the section (57.08), and was respectable in the 100 (12.58) and the 200 (25.48) top-10 season marks in the section.
But it was her relay legs that sparkled as the Tigers won the section 1,600 (3:50.76) before dropping that to a 3:48.08 that placed third in the state with the section’s best-ever time.

Vitals: Bullard, senior, 100/200/400 relay
She’s qualified because: Placed third in the section 200 (25.11) and fourth in the 100 (12.26), but, more impressively, blistered an opening leg in a 400 relay (46.54) that finished fifth in the state with the second-best time in section history.
The Knights’ quartet also won the section gold in 47.13.

She’s qualified because: Won the section 400 with a time (55.79) that ranks No. 4 in section history.
Also placed fourth in the section 200 (25.13).
He said it: “This year was definitely the best of the four I’ve worked with her. She started off a lot stronger, pretty much getting personal records from the get-go. I just think she was a lot more serious, a lot more focused. And a lot of it probably had to do with talking to a lot of colleges. From last year to this, she basically made an improvement of 2 seconds, which is pretty big for the 400.” — Grizzlies assistant coach Jeremy Graham.
