She’s qualified because: Established herself as a vaulter to beat in next year’s state meet by winning the section (12-7) and taking a bronze at the state (11-10).

The 12-7 is third-best in section history and No. 1 for a junior.

He said it: “Whoa, to set a personal record by a foot in the vault is really good and she went over 2 feet higher. She’s extremely competitive and that showed. This is only her second year vaulting. There’s so much potential there, who knows how high she’s going to go. She has the whole package — good speed, great awareness, great leverage and tall and strong.” – Bears coach Brian Weaver.
