A's coaching staff to remain intact for 2010
The Oakland Athletics announced on Tuesday that their coaching staff will return intact for the 2010 season.
Curt Young retains his position as pitching coach for the seventh season, Ron Romanick comes back for his third year as bullpen coach, Tye Waller will see his fourth season as bench coach, and returning for a second season will be hitting coach Jim Skaalen, third base coach Mike Gallego and first base coach Todd Stevenson.
Oakland posted its third consecutive losing season in 2009, going 75-87 and finishing last of four clubs in the AL West. All three have come under manager Bob Geren.

Falcons bring back pair for 2008-'09 season
The Fresno Falcons have signed left wing Jarrett Konkle and defenseman Daryl Marcoux for the 2008-09 season.
Konkle will be playing his fourth season as a pro and his second with the Falcons. In 41 games last season, he tied for seventh on the team in scoring with 39 points on 16 goals and 23 assists. He missed the final 31 games of the regular season, and the playoffs, with an injury.
Marcoux enters his second pro season. He appeared in 62 games last season as a rookie with the Falcons, scoring four goals and adding 17 assists for 21 points. The 24-year-old led the club in plus-minus with a plus-18 rating.

Texans sign OL Reyes, place OL Brisiel on IR
The Houston Texans have signed veteran guard Tutan Reyes in the wake of losing starting guard Mike Brisiel to a season- ending Lisfranc injury to his left foot.
Reyes is a veteran of 10 NFL seasons and played in 15 games last season for Jacksonville. The 31-year-old also has experience at the tackle position with 37 starts in 53 career games with six different teams.
Brisiel is the second starter at the guard position to be placed on injured reserve this season following the loss of Chester Pitts to a season-ending knee injury in Week 2.
