Vitals: Clovis, senior, 200 free, 500 free, 200 free relay, 400 free relay

He’s qualified because: Proved king of the distance swimmers at the section finals by winning the 500 free (4:32.97) and placing second in the 200 free (1:41.01), both in All-America times.

He was also the anchor of the Cougars’ winning freestyle relays, with the 400 team clocking the second-fastest time in section history (3:07.16) and the 200 team posting the third-fastest time in section history (1:25.70). Both were All-America times.

He said it: “I know his 500 swim at CIF really helped those last two relays go. Everyone saw what Dan did and it really helped. He was who the guys fed off all year long.” — Clovis coach Peter Tragitt
