School: Central Valley Christian

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

Need to know: From a 31-point outburst against Clovis West in a season opener to a 28-point season-ending effort against Windward-Los Angeles in the Southern California Regional semifinals, he let it rip from afar and on dynamic drives for the 28-5 section D-V champion.

A four-year starter and second-leading career scorer (1,630 points) in school history, he averaged 16.7 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 1.5 assists this season. He shot 41% from behind the arc while making 100 3s and made 86% of his free throws. He made all 10 of his free throw attempts while scoring 21 points, and also had six rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 75-60 rout of Mission Prep in the D-V final at Selland Arena.

“He has always been one of the best shooters in the Valley and one of the better high school shooters I have ever seen,” Cavaliers coach Blake Van Der Schaaf says. “Being that he was one of our best ball-handlers as well, he really had to play mostly the point for us. This year, in my opinion, he went from being the best shooter in the Valley to one of the best all-around players in the Valley. He trusted his teammates more this year and that brought his overall numbers up. He’s not only a great player but very coachable and an overall great kid. He will be tough to replace.”
